As a QA Engineer at Civey, your mission is to support the team in meeting our high-quality standards and take our software testing and automation to the next level!

• Identify, promote, coach and support the adoption of innovative tools and approaches to drive high quality product and development processes.
• Work in our agile development team with experienced engineers, designers and product managers.
• Share and promote best practices to cultivate a testing mindset across the teams.
• Support the team’s QA-related activities, including planning, designing, implementing, and executing test plans, managing and tracking defects
• Ongoing evaluation of test automation to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  

Your Talents

You have a talent for communicating with the team and enabling high quality processes and solutions.

• You have 1-3 years of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer in an agile development team. 
• You have had extensive experience testing web applications and writing test plans.
• You have an understanding of Agile QA processes and concepts including test case preparation and test methodologies
• Experience using frameworks such as Cypress
• Experience in testing API integrations (Postman, Swagger)
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Critical thinking about product behavior and user impact
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

When our founders Janina and Gerrit met, they were involved in local politics - and talked to people in public markets to find out what was really important to them. Now, they  do the same, but with Civey they have replaced the markets with the digital technology landscape.

Our success is based on the fact that we reach people with our surveys where they are every day, where they read important news, find out about their specialist topics or check their e-mails. What's more, we give people back what they give us: Information. All users receive the current result of the survey after they have voted. This has enabled us to build Germany's largest online panel within a short space of time. 

We work for large companies such as VW and Vodafone, but the German government and major media companies such as DIE ZEIT and ProSiebenSat.1 also use our data because of our speed, reliability and special data depth. This enables them to continuously measure potential and sentiment with the help of live surveys in the overall population as well as in small target groups.
